Halloween? Scotland? “Guising”??

The term “Halloween” comes from a shortening of “All-Hallows-Eve” Scottish-style, or so say some experts. It has historical roots in an ancient Gaelic festival called “Samhuinn”. The phrase for trick-or-treating in Scotland is “guising” and is derived from “disguising” as in the costumes worn by children.

Some people say that Scotland has more haunted locations that anywhere else on the planet. If that is indeed the case, where else would you want to be on October 31st?
