We had a gorgeous day for the NYC Tartan Day Parade this year (April 6). High 60’s for temps, light winds, and lots of sunshine (though it only rarely pokes through the canyons of NYC!).
While we did not have as many St. Andrews Society members join us as we would have liked, we did fine.
In the pic attached, from the left is Rich Hixon, Linda Campbell (a Deputy Commissioner for the Clan Campbell Society from NH), Cathy Higle, two folks whose names are not known who were representing Friends of Jim Campbell, Frank Alguire, Jay Higle, Charles Mackenzie, an attorney and genealogist in NYC (an old friend and member of the SAS State of NY), Jim McPhee, Jim McCann, and Bill Burke. Jim McPhee and Jim McCann, both non-resident members, traveled from PA to join us for the parade, and hosted a small party afterward.
