Did You Know: Founding of the St. Andrew’s Society of Albany

The St. Andrew’s Society of Albany was founded 1803 when a group of local leaders met in the Tontine Coffee House. The Tontine Coffee House was located on the corner of State and North Pearl Streets in Albany. The forty-one Society founders came from all walks of life and included politicians, clergy, and physicians.
