Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan

The traditional observance of the Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan was held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on September 11.  Our Society was represented with the presentation of the tartan and the Capital Region Celtic Pipe Bank under the direction of our Piper.

We Welcome the Royal Regiment of Scotland

The Society welcomed 18 soldiers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland on Monday, September 5th, 2016.  The canoeists arrived at the Corning Preserve’s Colonie Street boat and canoe launch about six in the afternoon, after padding down from Stillwater.  They were piped ashore by our Society Piper who played the …
