On May 19th we joined together as a hearty band of members and guests to honor the Past Presidents of the society. We had our usual cozy room in the Albany Country Club attended by their always friendly and attentive staff. Four of our nine living past presidents were able to be with us to celebrate. We enjoyed the evening of good conversations and good food beginning with the traditional Haggis.
We were regaled by the music of our latest Tunnicliffe scholarship recipient, 14 year-old Mr. Blair Beaton. He was accompanied by our own Callum Younger on the pipes. I don’t think anyone was ready for how entertaining an evening of drum music could be, or how outstanding and accomplished this young artist was.
